ByKolles to be powered by NISMO engines in 2017

ByKolles Racing is planning to compete in the 2017 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC)* with a new engine supplier, NISMO. 

The private LMP1 team based in Greding, Germany will use the Japanese company’s 3 litre, V6 turbo Nismo VRX 30A Evo engine and the team has been working hard on its integration as well as numerousimprovements to the chassis, bodywork and mechanical parts of the CLM P1/01.  

“Engine supply from Nismo is of great significance to our team”, says ByKolles Head of Operations Boris Bermes. “After having to deal with many setbacks in the past due to engine reliability issues, for the 2017 season we are expecting a significant improvement in terms of both reliability as well as performance.”
