DragonSpeed announce LMP1 plans for 2018/2019 Super Season

Newly crowned European Le Mans Series LMP2 champions 10Star DragonSpeed has today announced its intention to step up to the LMP1 category of the 2018-2019 FIA World Endurance Championship.

Newly crowned European Le Mans Series LMP2 champions 10Star DragonSpeed has today announced its intention to step up to the LMP1 category of the 2018-2019 FIA World Endurance Championship.

Aiming to be the first-ever LMP1 team in the WEC representing the USA, the team has revealed that Henrik Hedman (SWE) and Ben Hanley (GBR) are lined up as two of the three drivers for the programme. 

The team is currently evaluating a range of chassis, engine, and driver options, and looks forward to potentially being a part of the revised LMP1 category, the future regulations for which are due to be unveiled soon.
