Howdy Race Day; Howdy WEC Fans!
The fifth edition of the Lone Star Le Mans’ headline event – the 6 Hours of COTA – is almost set to commence as the temperatures begin to rise in parallel with the expectation levels at COTA today.
Fans were arriving at the track to get their places around the spectacular and undulating 3.427-mile circuit close to Austin, the capital of Texas.
With multiple battles set to rage throughout the day, the calm before the endurance racing storm will see a colourful canvas at the autograph session which is scheduled to begin at 9:30 am local time.
Before the big race gets set to roar into action at 12:00 noon, all fans are free to enter the grid to get up close to the stars and cars and they will enjoy seeing the majestic sight of a WW2 B25 Mitchell bomber flying overhead in the minutes before the green flag drops.
With one race each for the Ferrari Challenge North America, F4 USA Championship and World Series Formula V8 3.5 series also scheduled, there is action galore for everyone to enjoy.
