Following the announcement of a record entry for the 2018-2019 FIA World Endurance Championship Super Season at a press conference live-streamed via digital channels, it is now confirmed that Motorsport Network will once again support the WEC as official digital media partner.

The agreement ensures that the championship, including two editions of the 24 Hours of Le Mans within the eight-race Super Season, is extensively covered editorially across Motorsport Network platforms, including Motorsport.com, Autosport.com and Motorsport.tv plus visibility and amplification across 21 editions in 15 languages.

Gerard Neveu, CEO of the World Endurance Championship said, “Our relationship with Motorsport Network goes from strength to strength.  As a digital media partner, Motorsport Network provides an integrated solution to give us huge international visibility editorially - and to help us promote the series to new audiences in their markets across the world, the fans and their passion being our driving force.”

Colin Smith, CEO, Motorsport Network said, “We are honoured that the World Endurance Championship has chosen to partner with us again, adding more depth to our already strong relationship.  This year’s collaboration has been christened by our live coverage of WEC’s exciting news of a record entry for this season. We’re delighted to be able to contribute to what promises to be a thrilling season in prospect.”

Motorsport Network, together with Nielsen Sports, played a key role in the management and promotion of the 2017 WEC Global Fan Survey, and a final email has now been sent to all 54,000 respondents across 179 countries with a link to the analysis.

Everyone who took part in the survey was eligible to win a VIP trip for two people to the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans as a guest of the WEC, and the lucky winner is Frank Bartel from Aachen in Germany.  Mr Bartel’s prize includes travel to and tickets for the 24H of Le Mans 2018 with premium access including hospitality lounge and the grid before the start of the race and hotel accommodation.
