Rubens Barrichello will get the 6 Hours of COTA underway this afternoon as he waves the green flag to unleash the full grid of FIA WEC cars away.

The 11-times Grand Prix winner is a guest of the Vaillante Rebellion team at COTA this weekend and has been catching up with the WEC family after his exploits at Le Mans this year where he finished 11th in the LMP2 category.

Maintaining his interest in the FIA WEC, Barrichello will be taking a keen interest in the 6 Hours of the Circuit of the Americas today.  The Brazilian has been spending time with friends Bruno Senna and Nelson Piquet Jnr, both drivers in the Vaillante Rebellion team. Barrichello will be watching the race from the LMP2 teams pit and will also make an appearance on the live race coverage this afternoon.
