Another month, another 24-hour race!
There may be a break away from FIA WEC race action for a few weeks, but a number of our drivers are keeping busy, race fit and physically fit, so they’ll be ready for the 6 Hours of Silverstone on 19th August.
The entry list for this weekend’s Total 24 Hours Spa for GT3 cars features many names which are well known to the WEC, including LMP1 stars Vitaly Petrov and Mikhail Aleshin from SMP Racing and Renger Van der Zande of DragonSpeed.
Also on track will be factory drivers from Aston Martin (Maxime Martin and Nicki Thiim), BMW (Philipp Eng, Tom Blomqvist and Nicky Catsburg), Ferrari (Davide Rigon and Miguel Molina), Ford (Olivier Pla) and Porsche – the latter fielding a line-up of WEC world champions and Le Mans winners (Timo Bernhard, Earl Bamber, Laurens Vanthoor, Marc Lieb, Romain Dumas among others).
