Rebellion Williams, JOTA Redline and R8G latest teams to confirm drivers
Following on from this morning’s Team Redline news that Max Verstappen and Lando Norris will compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual, three further teams have revealed their driver line-ups…
Firstly, Rebellion Racing has confirmed it will team up with Williams F1 to form the Rebellion Williams Esport team.
The No. 1 car will be driven by Louis Deletraz and Raffaele Marciello in addition to sim racers Nikodem Wisniewski and Kuba Brzezinski. Sharing driving duties on the second ORECA 07 LMP2 car will be Rebellion Racing’s regular FIA WEC drivers Gustavo Menezes and Bruno Senna plus sim racers Petar Brljack and Dawid Mroczek.
Meanwhile, JOTA Team Redline will field two ORECA 07 LMP2 entries. Driving the No. 37 car will be professional racing drivers Will Stevens and Gabriel Aubry who will be joined by sim racers Dominik Farber and Aleksi Uusi-Jaakkola. Sharing virtual driving duties on the No. 38 car will be Antonio Felix da Costa and Felix Rosenqvist alongside sim racers Rudy van Buren and Kevin Siggy.
R8G Esports team, which is owned by French F1 driver Romain Grosjean, has confirmed that Daniel Juncadella and Mathias Beche will team up with sim racers Risto Kappet and Erhan Jajovski in the No. 80 Corvette C7.R entry.
