24H Le Mans: Malucelli completes AF Corse driver line up
01/06/2013

With the news of the withdrawal of the Green GT entry, and confirmation of Prospeed's LMGTE Am Porsche 911 GT3 RSE (Collard-Perodo-Crubilé) in its place, there was only one driver still to be confirmed and that news has now been released.

Italian driver, Matteo Malucelli, has been confirmed as the third driver in the No.51 AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia for the third round of the FIA World Endurance Championship, the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Malucelli, who competed in the WEC 6 Hours of Spa Francorchamps for 8Star Motorsports, will drive one of the AF Corse LMGTE Pro entries alongside 2012 class winners Gianmaria Bruni and Giancarlo Fisichella.

AF Corse's Amato Ferrari said: "It was joint decision between us and Ferrari, but he is an AF signing. He did a good job for us at Spa and a good job for Risi [Competizione in the ALMS] in America."

Malucelli's ALMS team-mate Olivier Beretta will share the No.71 F458 LMGTE Pro entry with Toni Vilander and Kamui Kobayashi.
