For the sixth round of the 2013 FIA World Endurance Challenge, we head to Japan for the 6 Hours of Fuji. Toyota Racing will be entering two of its hybrid-powered TS030 Hybrid LMP1s for its home race, making it an equal fight with the two Audi Sport Team Joest R18 e-tron quattro entries.
Fuji International Speedway, with an impressive 1.5km long straight as part of its 4.5km layout, is a popular venue for competitors and fans alike, and everyone looks forward to a great display of endurance racing on Sunday, 20th October.
There will be four specified ‘braking zones’ – the areas in which the energy recuperation hybrid technology can be employed – for the 6 Hours of Fuji, in Turns 1, 6, 10 and 16. The entry of each zone will be considered as at the 50m board before the curve.
