LMGTE Pro

As the race is moving into its final phase, the FIA World Endurance Championship’s LMGTE Pro battle rages on with the leading three cars separated by just 15 seconds.  Nick Tandy in the No.91 Porsche Team Manthey 911 RSR relentlessly pursued his team mate, Frédéric Makowiecki in the No.92 sister car, until passing him for the class lead.  Behind them, but in hot pursuit is the No.97 Aston Martin Vantage V8 of Stefan Mücke.    The AF Corse Ferraris have dropped back a little but anything can happen in the final 90 minutes of the 6 Hours of Circuit of The Americas.

LMGTE Am

The Proton Competition Porsche 911 RSR is holding the lead of the Am category, with Christian Ried currently having a lap in hand over his nearest rival, the No.95 Aston Martin Vantage V8 of Kristian Poulsen.  Marco Cioci in the No.61 AF Corse Ferrari 458 is third in class, but his team mates in the No.81 Prancing Horse have been delayed due to a penalty for working on the car during the 55-minute Red Flag period.
