The drivers are ready, the teams are ready and the spectacular Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez has set the scene for the start of a new sporting chapter for the wonderful country of Mexico.
The City of Mexico has been the perfect host for the WEC’s first appearance in the country and many of the visitors will be staying on an extra day to explore the many cultural and historic areas of the city and its environs.
For today – race day, the fans are pouring in to the track to see the world’s most spectacular sporstcars, support their own Mexican team – RGR Sport and to see four Mexican drivers in action in the fifth round of the 2016 FIA World Endurance Championship.
With an array of off-track entertainment, spectacular fan zones and a special Mexican atmosphere building, the first ever 6 Hours of Mexico presented by AT&T will live up to all expectations as the best endurance gladiators on the planet do battle.
