ByKolles to return at Spa with Gibson engines
ByKolles Racing has confirmed that it will return to WEC competition in the TOTAL 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps in May.
Following the Austrian LMP1 team’s withdrawal from the 1000 Miles of Sebring, round six of the Super Season, ByKolles has announced an engine supply agreement with Gibson Technology. From the Belgian round, the No.4 ByKolles ENSO prototype will be using the same 4.5 litre V8 Gibson engines as used by Rebellion Racing and DragonSpeed in their cars.
ByKolles Racing Team has had a difficult season so far. However, the highs of 4th place overall at the opening round of the Super Season in Spa last May and 5th place at the 6 Hours of Fuji in October hold promise of stronger performances to close out the season.
