Changes at Jackie Chan DC Racing
Jackie Chan DC Racing, managed by British-based JOTA Sport, has been forced to make changes to the driver line up of the No.37 ORECA-Gibson entry for the remainder of the WEC Super Season.
For the next two races, the 1000 Miles of Sebring and TOTAL 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, the squad of drivers in the No.37 car will be comprised of David Heinemeier Hansson, Jordan King and Will Stevens.
Heinemeier Hansson and King will also be in the LMP2 entry for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the final round of the Super Season, but will be joined by a third, yet-to-be-announced driver as Stevens has a prior commitment.
The enforced changes, which see Jazeman Jaafar, Nabil Jeffri and Weiron Tan stand down from the No.37 car, have been made due to regrettable circumstances beyond the control of any of the drivers. Jackie Chan DC Racing x JOTA wholeheartedly thank all three Malaysian drivers for their efforts within the team. These included claiming a win at the 6 Hours of Fuji in October 2018 and setting pole position at the 6 Hours of Silverstone last August.

We were left in a position where these changes had to be implemented and whilst this was a difficult process, it is in the best interests of the team.
