Custom car TV star Chip Foose at 6 Hours of Mexico
World renowned custom car and hot rod designer Chip Foose is one of several well known faces set to attend this weekend’s 6 Hours of Mexico Presented by AT&T, round five of the 2017 FIA World Endurance Championship.

World renowned custom car and hot rod designer Chip Foose is one of several well known faces set to attend this weekend’s 6 Hours of Mexico Presented by AT&T, round five of the 2017 FIA World Endurance Championship.
The multiple award-winning designer, and star of the TV show Overhaulin’, will experience the WEC’s world class sports prototypes and GT cars at very close quarters. Perhaps the most technologically advanced competition cars in the world will influence some future design ideas from Chip Foose?
The designer will be meeting the fans with several personal appearances scheduled in the WEC Fan Zone.
Chip Foose was the ‘house’ designer on Overhaulin’ for nine seasons on TLC, Velocity and Discovery channels with the more than 110 episodes of the show syndicated worldwide.
A number of national Mexican TV and music industry figures are also set to be present over the weekend. Soap star Diego de Erice, actress and TV host Raquel Bigorra, plus actor/ producers Mark Tacher and Sebastian Zurita have all confirmed their attendance.
Track action at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez gets underway with Free Practice on Friday afternoon. Qualifying on Saturday and the full race on Sunday are available on the FIA WEC App and on broadcast stations worldwide.
