Final version of WEC Monza entry list revealed
A revised entry list for next week’s 6 Hours of Monza (7-9 July) – round five of the 2023 FIA WEC season – is now available.
The latest version of the entry list can be viewed HERE and reveals a total of 13 Hypercars, 11 LMP2 cars and 12 LMGTE Am entries. The battle for the championship titles is extremely close in both Hypercar and LMP2 going into Monza – just 18 points separate Toyota and Ferrari in Hypercar, while in LMP2 there’s only four points separating category leaders Team WRT and second-placed Inter Europol Competition.
For Monza, Glickenhaus Racing has enlisted Olivier Pla and Nathanael Berthon to drive the No. 708 Glickenhaus 007 Hypercar alongside Romain Dumas making an all-French line-up for the American squad.
For the debut of the new Proton Competition Hypercar entry, 2016 FIA WEC champion Neel Jani will drive the Porsche 963 alongside Harry Tincknell and Gianmaria Bruni. Click HERE to read Jani’s full interview with FIAWEC.com earlier this week.
Floyd Vanwall Racing's entry in Hypercar will be driven by Esteban Guerrieri, Tristan Vautier and Joao Paulo de Oliveira - the former replacing Tom Dillmann.
In the No. 21 AF Ferrari 488 GTE Evo entry, Julien Piguet has been confirmed as the team’s Bronze driver. Meanwhile, in the No. 57 Kessel Racing car, Daniel Serra will be replaced by Japan’s Kei Cozzolino.
Also in LMGTE Am, Project 1 – AO have confirmed Matteo Cairoli but are yet to name their other two drivers.
Finally, Northwest AMR will sit this race out but have noted their intention to return for WEC 6 Hours of Fuji at the start of September.

The on-track action is set to kick off on Friday 7 July with Qualifying taking place on Saturday afternoon. The flag for the 6 hour race will be waved at 12h30 on Sunday 9 July.
