FP2 8H Bahrain: Hartley on top again while Ferrari to the fore in LMGTE Pro

The No. 52 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GTE Pro is on top in LMGTE Pro as Daniel Serra sets a best time of 1m57.569s. 

Racing Team Nederland fastest in LMP2, and LMGTE Am is led by No.77 Dempsey Proton Porsche.

Hypercar  

• Toyota Gazoo Racing 1-2 again in Friday morning session at Bapco 8 Hours of Bahrain 
• Brendon Hartley’s early session 1m47m.673s lap leads sister No.7 car by 0.5s and laps 0.8s faster than yesterday’s evening session best 
• Kamui Kobayashi is fastest driver in No.7 car on a 1m48.200s as it aims to take back-to-back titles tomorrow 
• Alpine Elf Matmut third as Matthieu Vaxiviere laps in 1m49.056s as team concentrate on long stint runs

• Daniel Serra pushes Ferrari into top position in LMGTE Pro 
• Brazilian laps No.52 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GTE Evo in 1m57.509s to lead No.91 Porsche by 0.4s 
• Frederic Makowiecki, who joins Richard Lietz and Gimmi Bruni in No.91 Porsche, sets a 1m57.924s best to place second

• Racing Team Nederland, which leads the LMP2 Pro/Am title chase, is quickest in 90-mins FP2 session  
• Giedo van der Garde laps in 1m50.513s, a time 0.2s faster than yesterday’s outright pace 
• United Autosports places second as Filipe Albuquerque sets a 1m50.559s lap, just 0.046s off best time 
• Points leading No.31 Team WRT car places third as Ferdinand Habsburg’s early set 1m51.190s stays good enough for P3
