How to watch the 1000 Miles of Sebring
Global TV coverage and a new broadcaster for Canada ready to bring the action to fans
The start of the tenth anniversary season of the FIA World Endurance Championship at the 1000 Miles of Sebring brings the opportunity for millions of fans around the world to tune in to the action live from Florida.
New broadcasting partnerships will increase the opportunities for fans to stay right up to date with the world of WEC. In Canada the automotive specialist REV TV will bring highlights of all six races in the 2022 WEC season and in Australia Channel 9 will broadcast live coverage and highlights free-to-air while the Stan Sport streaming service will also offer full coverage to its subscribers.
The FIA WEC app will show qualifying and the full eight hour race live. The app is available worldwide (apart from USA and Canada where it is geoblocked) with English commentary from Martin Haven, Graham Goodwin and new recruit to the team, 2014 WEC champion Anthony Davidson. Louise Beckett will support the team from the pitlane.
Meanwhile a global network of broadcasters will ensure that fans get to savour every moment of the race live or in the all-action highlights packages.
Europe
Across Europe, Eurosport will show the full 1000 miles live across a seven-hour broadcast to its subscribers which includes individual broadcasts for France, the UK and Germany. Individual broadcasters screening the race to subscribers in Europe will be:
- Balkans – Arena Sport (last two hours live and highlights after the race)
- Belgium – Sport 10 (entire race live and highlights on March 23)
- Denmark – TV2 Sport (last two hours delayed)
- Poland – Polsat (entire race live)
Americas
MotorTrend – will broadcast the the entire race live to subscribers in the USA and Canada. New for 2022, Canadian automotive specialist broadcaster REV TV will host a one-hour highlights package after all six rounds of this year’s WEC.
Mexico is a nation which adores motorsport in all its forms and the WEC audience will be well catered for with live coverage of the first three hours plus the final two hours and podium celebrations on Fox Sports. In addition, Central and South America and the Caribbean will receive full live coverage and post-event highlights on ESPN.
Asia
Pan-Asian coverage of the full race live will be available to Eurosport subscribers, while the diverse markets in the region will also have their own subscription services.
J Sports will broadcast the full race live for Japanese fans who can tune in to see home drivers Kamui Kobayashi and Kazuki Nakajima fighting for the World Championship title in Toyota Gazoo Racing’s Hypercar. In New Zealand, fans can watch home driver Brendon Hartley live via Sky while in Taiwan post-event highlights will be available on ELTA.
Africa
For fans across continental Africa the full race is available live via subscription to SuperSport, with highlights to be screened on March 22.
