Jani to replace Christensen in Porsche GTE Pro line-up
Porsche confirmed today that it will continue to field two works-entered Porsche 911 RSR cars in the LMGTE Pro category of the 2021 FIA World Endurance Championship.
There will be a change in the line-up for Season 9, however, as Switzerland’s Neel Jani is set to replace Michael Christensen in the No. 92 car. Jani will be joined by Frenchman Kevin Estre, who won the GTE Pro category in the WEC Super Season. The line-up for the No. 91 car will remain the same with Italy’s Gianmaria Bruni and Austria’s Richard Lietz.
There will once again be several customer Porsche teams competing in the WEC’s LMGTE Am category with more details to be confirmed in due course.
