Keating confirms return to FIA WEC in 2022 with TF Sport
American Ben Keating has confirmed he will return to the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2022 with LMGTE Am team, TF Sport.
British-based team TF Sport is yet to be confirm its full 2022 driver line-up for the Aston Martin Vantage AMR. However, there will be a change to Keating’s teammates for next season due to Dylan Pereira’s FIA driver grading being upped from Silver to Gold.
TF Sport will be fighting for the LMGTE Am honours on Saturday (6 November) at the Bahrain International Circuit for the WEC finale. Following the team’s win last weekend at the Bapco 6 Hours of Bahrain, TF Sport currently lie second in the standings - 21.5 points adrift of AF Corse Ferrari.
Keating commented: “Clearly TF Sport run a great team and the Aston suits me pretty well. I look back at this year and feel like we could have had wins in three other races. It is still my hope to win the championship, but if we don’t, then it will definitely be the main goal for 2022.”
