Le Mans Esports Series final kicks off at Le Mans
Tuesday marked the first of four days of Le Mans Esports Series (LMES) action, featuring sportscars from the pre-1970s era as they do battle on Forza Motorsport 7.
Teams from around the world will compete remotely in the 2020 LMES final which will run until Friday [18 September]. Both Pro and Pro-Am teams will race for a share of a $150,000 prize pool.
The races will take place over four nights that reflect the history of the iconic endurance race. Each night will feature four hours of exhilarating racing with two one-hour sprint races and a two-hour endurance race.
The two teams with the lowest points, in both the Pro and Pro-Am categories, at the end of every night will be eliminated until we go into the Super Final on Friday where the top three teams will battle it out for the title.
Follow the action live on Motorsport.tv and also via the Le Mans Esport Series Twitch, Facebook and YouTube accounts.
