Officials present for this inspection were Vincent Beaumesnil, 24 Hours of Le Mans Clerk of the Course Patrick Morisseau, FIA Race Director Eduardo Freitas and his assistant Lisa Weishard, four-time Le Mans winner and FIA Driver Adviser Yannick Dalmas and ACO president Pierre Fillon.
Drivers who joined them were two-time Le Mans winner and Toyota advisor Alexander Wurz (1996 and 2009), Nicolas Lapierre for Signatech Alpine Matmut in LMP2 and official Ford factory driver in LMGTE Pro, Andy Priaulx. This highly experienced group served to represent the different classes in the race.
The drivers provided a strong voice, in lengthy discussions with officials regarding potential improvements in case of incidents on the track. They were able to look at the driving lines taken, visibility in the corners, and also discuss how to deal with traffic from the perspective of their different categories.
