LMES confirms list of competitors for Le Mans Super Final
With more than 8000 participants, the final qualifier of the second season of the Le Mans Esports Series (LMES) proved to be a huge success.
From Friday 24 April to Sunday 3 May, the LMES qualifier was held at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium where competitors battled it out for a perfect lap at the virtual wheel of a Porsche 911 RSR GTE car.
The top three times from across the Americas, EMEA and Asia were then given an automatic entry into the Super Final at the 24 Hours of Le Mans this September.
In the end, RBR Venom won for the America zone in 2:16.606. WIL Rich 92, qualified for the EMEA zone, clocking a lap in under 2:17. Meanwhile, RZM Massacre took the final podium spot out of the Asian competitors with a time of 2:17.919.
