LMGTE hits the roads...and the skies
13/04/2016

Two of the FIA World Endurance Championship’s manufacturer teams in LMGTE have been making their presence known in London, ahead of this weekend’s 6 Hours of Silverstone, the opening round of the championship (Silverstone, 15-17 April).

The new Ford GT did a tour of London on Monday which followed the outline of the Silverstone Circuit layout, and attracted plenty of interest.  Ford Chip Ganassi Team UK will have entries No.66 and 67 on the grid on Sunday in the hands of Billy Johnson (USA), Stefan Mücke (DEU), Olivier Pla (FRA), Marino Franchitti (GBR), Andy Priaulx (GBR) and Harry Tincknell (GBR).  CLICK HERE for more details.

Today, Aston Martin Racing’s V8 Vantage GTE challenger took to the skies to promote a new partnership the team has with a specialist property developer, Mount Anvil.  The car was lifted by crane on to the top of Dollar Bay, a dockside 31-storey, crystalline glass tower which overlooks the international finance hub of Canary Wharf in East London.
