On Friday, 7th November Audi driver Lucas di Grassi completed his own warm-up for next weekend's WEC round in the desert of Bahrain, stopping off in the United Arab Emirates to take part in the Dubai International Triathlon.
In the Half Ironman event, the 30-year-old racer covered a 1.9-kilometer swimming distance, ran 21.1 kilometres and rode a bicycle for 90 kilometres. He completed the event in 5h37 drank about seven litres of liquid, lost 2.7 kilos of weight and burned 4,836 kilocalories.
