Tonight saw 59 LMP and GTE cars line up on the grid for the official 24 Hours of Le Mans class photo.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no group driver picture as normal but all eyes will be focused on the exhilarating on-track battles where fans can tune in from home to watch the full 24 hours of race action.
Fifty-nine cars make up this year’s entry list, with a total of 177 drivers (171 men and 6 females). There will be 33 home drivers competing under the French flag.
Three free practice sessions and qualifying will take place tomorrow [Thursday] ahead of Friday’s brand-new Hyperpole to determine the top six starting positions for each category. Saturday’s race will get underway at 14h30 CEST.
