Race day in Bahrain!
After yesterday’s rain, the sun is now shining for round 4 of FIA WEC – the Bapco 8 Hours of Bahrain – as the Championship prepares for its longest race of Season 8 so far.
With the green flag due to be dropped at 15h00 local time (13h00 CET), it’s Rebellion Racing who will start on pole in LMP1 for the second race in a row with the No. 1 Rebellion R13 – Gibson shared by Gustavo Menezes, Bruno Senna and Norman Nato.
Heading the LMGTE Pro class will be category leaders Porsche, as the No. 91 Porsche 911 RSR topped the times in yesterday’s Qualifying. Meanwhile, United Autosports heads the LMP2 crews and Team Project 1 will run first in LMGTE Am.
