Rookie Test is Go!
Fifty drivers, 21 cars, one track...
With the Bahrain International Circuit still replete with a good rubber coating from yesterday's Bapco 8 Hours of Bahrain, today sees Rookie Test action in Sakhir.
Fifty drivers across twenty-one teams are set to take to the track with the rookie test separated into two sessions, with morning running taking place between 10-12noon local time and the afternoon action running from 13:00-16:00.
The updated entry list for today's Rookie Test can be seen here.
The Official WEC Rookies will get a taste of things that could come in the future, whilst some old hands also take to the track for some more laps of the track.
For the Official WEC Rookies, Lilou Wadoux gets a go in the title-winning Toyota Gazoo Racing GR010 - Hybrid; Lorenzo Colombo jumps into the AF Corse Ferrari 488 GTE EVO; Doriane Pin takes to the JOTA LMP2 Oreca and Finn Gehrsitz goes out in the D'Station Aston Martin Vantage AMR. All the Official Rookies get at least 30 laps behind the wheel of the championship winning car for their allocated category.
