Spa-Francorchamps WEC paddock is ready to race
The WEC is back on European soil for the first time in 2019 as the teams and drivers prepare for the penultimate race of the Super Season at the famous Spa-Francorchamps circuit in south-east Belgium.
G-Drive Racing will make a welcome return to the WEC, with the team eager to repeat its winning performance from Spa in 2018 when the Russian entrant won the LMP2 category. The no. 26 Aurus car will be driven by Jean-Eric Vergne, Job Van Uitert and Roman Rusinov.
Meanwhile, American team DragonSpeed has withdrawn its LMP1 entry ahead of the weekend. DragonSpeed’s LMP2 entry, however, remains on the entry list.
