Test Day : Oreca on all fronts
No fewer than nine Oreca 03 (eight powered by Nissan and one Judd) participated in the Test Day of the 24 Hours of Le Mans on Sunday, including three teams involved in the FIA World Endurance Championship. Some of the drivers of Pecom Racing, ADR-Delta and Signatech-Nissan put in the testing laps to be ready for the big day, while others were doing the mandatory ten laps required to be allowed to take the start of the first practice session.
Championship leaders, team ADR Delta, welcomed Jan Charouz, replacing Robbie Kerr. The Czech driver set the fastest time of the crew in the first part of a day, while Tor Graves and John Martin did their regulation 10 laps.
The Pecom Racing trio of drivers used the official practice to spend time on car set up. Soheil Ayari, Pierre Kaffer and Luis Perez-Companc, who are mounted on the podium 12 Hours of Sebring, (opening round of the World Championship) in the LMP2 class, took turns at the wheel for a faultless run.
Signatech-Nissan entered two cars: see here.
