While the third round of the FIA World Endurance Championship, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, may still not be for another month, the teams and drivers are busy preparing themselves for the official Le Mans Test Day which takes place on Sunday, 1st June.
In just over two weeks the race transporters and team members will be making their way to Le Mans for the start of their French odyssey - the biggest points-scoring opportunity of the season and the linchpin around which all other WEC and ACO endurance events are based.
Scrutineering starts for this event on Friday 30th May and continues on Saturday 31st, and all 55 entries plus the Nissan ZEOD RC car - the Garage 56 technically innovative special entry - must pass through technical and administrative checks. A full list of the times for these can be found HERE
The track opens at 9h00 until 13h00 for the first of two test sessions on Sunday, the second being from 14h00 to 18h00. Test Day tickets are available now at www.24h-lemans.com.Remember, all 24 Hours of Le Mans tickets include admission to the Test Day.
