Two weeks until 6 Hours of Monza… win tickets with Avis!
In just over two weeks’ time, the FIA WEC will travel to Italy for round five of the World Championship – the 6 Hours of Monza.
Following Ferrari's historic victory at the recent 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Tifosi will be out in force in Monza to support the No. 50 and No. 51 Ferrari 499 Hypercars, as well as four Ferrari 488 GTE Evo cars competing in the LMGTE Am category.
Ferrari AF Corse will be competing alongside six other manufacturers in the headline Hypercar category including current championship leaders Toyota Gazoo Racing plus Cadillac, Porsche Penske, Peugeot TotalEnergies, Glickenhaus and Floyd Vanwall. There will also be 11 LMP2 cars and 13 LMGTE Am cars in Monza, all fighting for the 2023 championship trophies which will be awarded after the season-finale in Bahrain later this year.
Free practice will get started on Friday 7 July with qualifying on Saturday afternoon. The green flag for the all-important 6 hour race will be waved at 12:30 p.m. local time on Sunday. Joining the WEC in Monza will also be the F1 Academy, the Alfa Revival Cup and F3 classic ensuring non-stop race action for fans attending, as well as a host of entertainment planned in the WEC fan zone.
WEC's premium partner Avis car rental is running a competition until 25 June where fans will have the chance to win a pair of tickets including access to paddock, grid walk and parking.
