“I did not exactly know what to expect with the car but it felt good straight away. I was actually quite conservative in sector one and I felt good with it so I pushed in sectors two and three. When I saw the time on the dash I was very happy because when I jumped in the car Lucas was on the pole and I thought it would be an easy pole but they asked me to stay in the car which meant I was a bit nervous."

The team asked me to push and it looked like it would be close again but in the end we had enough in hand.
