LMP2 entrant, Greaves Motorsport, will be introducing two new drivers to both the FIA World Endurance Championship and the 6 Hours  of Sao Paulo.  Joining Christian Zugel in the No.41 Zytek Z11SN Nissan will be one of the European Le Mans Series GTE class standouts, Gunnar Jeannette from North America, and experienced Swede, Bjorn Wirdheim.

Wirdheim has an impressive record in both single seaters and sportscar racing. He was the 2003 FIA Formula 3000 International Drivers Champion and the following season was the official Test and Reserve Driver for the Jaguar Racing F1 Team. In recent years he has raced mainly in Japan, competing in Formula Nippon and latterly Super GT for Lexus and Nissan in GT500 class. This season he joined the Gainer Team driving their Dixcel Gainer Mercedes SLS AMG in the GT300 class, scoring one victory so far and is in close contention for the title.

Jacob Greaves, Team Manager: “We are really pleased to have such a fast and experienced driver join us for Sao Paulo. Bjorn’s record in all forms of motorsport is impressive and he will add a great deal to our effort at Interlagos.”
