Many congratulations to Toyota Gazoo Racing’s Sebastien Buemi who yesterday clinched the FIA Formula E Championship crown.
The 2015-16 title fight came down to just two men – the Swiss driver and Audi Sport’s Lucas di Grassi – and they were level on points going into the final race. After an incident-filled event, which was won by another FIA WEC driver, Nicolas Prost, it was Buemi who emerged as victor after claiming two points for fastest lap of the race.
