Tickets go on sale this Friday for 2024 Lone Star Le Mans

Lone Star Le Mans returns to Circuit of The Americas (COTA) on Labor Day weekend 2024, as the sixth round of the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC).

Tickets are available for purchase this Friday (1 September) at TheCircuit.com/WEC .

The six hour-long endurance world championship is known for bringing the spirit of the historic 24 Hours of Le Mans to Texas. Consisting of over 30 Hypercars and GT cars, Lone Star Le Mans first ran at COTA in September of 2013 and continued yearly until 2017. The race was last held at COTA in February of 2020 and in 2024, Lone Star Le Mans is expected to bring together the largest collection of race cars and manufacturers ever seen in North America.

“It's an honor to have the World Endurance Championship back at our circuit. The quality of racing is top notch, and the cars are spectacular. I'm certain the drivers, fans, manufacturers, and teams will enjoy Texas hospitality. We look forward to welcoming the WEC in 2024!" said Chairman and Co-Founder Bobby Epstein.

With eight rounds per WEC season, the stakes will be high for teams entering the sixth and only round in North America. Throughout the event, up to three drivers per car will take shifts, and pit stops and tire strategies will be extremely consequential amidst the track conditions. Race fans will have the freedom to view the race from multiple different turns with our standard general admission ticket – and upgrade their experience to include a pit-lane grid walk and driver autograph session.

FIA WEC CEO, Frédéric Lequien, said “The FIA WEC action at COTA will be truly spectacular next year with a minimum of ten global manufacturers competing across our Hypercar and GT3 categories. COTA will be the only North American stop in our 2024 calendar and we are working hard with the team on the ground to put on a fantastic weekend of entertainment for the fans. We can't wait to bring the Spirit of Le Mans back to Texas!”

WEC features some of the best endurance drivers at a global level with Hypercar and GT3 race cars from the likes of Porsche, Cadillac, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Toyota, Peugeot, Alpine and BMW. Many of the same cars and drivers from the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans will compete in Austin. The International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) will be present during the weekend, as well, with their Mustang Challenge series and the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series . The Circuit anticipates other additions to the event to announce in due course.
