Bahrain: After 1 Hour Toyota No. 7 leads while Porsche on top in LMGTE Pro
After the first 60 minutes of racing at the 8 Hours of Bahrain, the season-closer to the 2019 2020 FIA World Endurance Championship, the No. 7 Toyota Gazoo Racing entry leads the sister No. 8 car.
With Mike Conway at the wheel, the No. 7 Toyota TS050 HYBRID is 30 seconds ahead of the No. 8 driven by Sebastien Buemi. Both crews have completed one pit stop – the No. 8’s rear tyres changed while the sister car was just one fuel stop only.
Elsewhere, the No. 92 Porsche GT Team entry leads the sister No. 91 car in LMGTE Pro. In the all-important battle for the drivers’ championship, the No. 95 Aston Martin Vantage leads the No. 97 car. AF Corse Ferrari currently fifth and sixth with the Ferrari 488 GTE EVO.

Pole-sitters United Autosports continues to lead the LMP2 field with Paul Di Resta still at the wheel of the ORECA 07 Gibson.
LMGTE Am has seen plenty of lead changes with TF Sport leading from lap one with Salih Yoluc at the wheel before being caught by the Team Project 1 sister entries. Following Paul Dalla Lana’s spin in the opening hour, Ross Gunn is now in the No. 98 Aston Martin Racing car where he has made his way up through the field to lead the category.
