It's race day in Sebring!
The 2023 FIA WEC season is almost upon us and the anticipation is reaching fever pitch.
It’s time for the talking and predicting to stop! A glorious new era of multi-manufacturer Hypercar racing is here.
The planned convergence of the Hypercar and LMDh rules sets were first announced in January 2020. Now the time has arrived for Toyota, Ferrari, Cadillac, Peugeot and Porsche to go head-to-head for the very first time.
With Lamborghini, BMW and Alpine to come in 2024 the future is blindingly bright for the FIA WEC right now.
The grid of 36 cars will take the start at 12.00 local time at a sunny Sebring this afternoon and the new dawn has started with a bang as the Prancing Horse will start from pole position after Antonio Fuoco’s superb lap in qualifying yesterday.
With excellent racing guaranteed too in LMP2 and LMGTE Am, the huge crowd at the track and the millions of viewers around the world will be gripped by a once in a generation fight for supremacy for eight hours on Friday afternoon at Sebring International Raceway.
