Dynamic cinema Le Mans lap will wow fans
This year the FIA World Endurance Championship Super Season will feature new and innovative attractions throughout its fan areas – which are all free to enjoy.
One of these, which is sure to become an instant fan favourite, is a new development in interactive entertainment that will see fans able to enjoy a dynamic cinema experience by sampling an onboard lap of the legendary Circuit des 24 Heures at Le Mans…as seen from the driver’s seat.
The fresh technology has been developed by the Canadian based D-Box company which is a leader in creating hyper-realistic, immersive entertainment experiences.
Housed within the WEC fan tent, the WEC’s Dynamic Cinema experience will see fans in a cinematic environment and enable them to sample Le Mans with a full motion system which echoes gear changes, braking and cornering.
Whether flat-out down the Mulsanne Straight or sweeping through Tertre Rouge or the Porsche Curves, the attraction is sure to be one of the highlights of the special WEC Fan Zone throughout the Super Season. Fans can also experience the best moments of the WEC with a “Best Spot of Endurance” interactive film.
