Getting to know Marcel Fässler…

After André Lotterer, Marcel Fässler answered a few more personal questions.

Marcel, what is your favourite road car?

"I like the cars of the 50s and 60s, like the Porsche 956, Corvette Stingray or the Beetle. The cars of that era had a lot of character, but also different shapes."

What is your favourite circuit?

"Spa without hesitation as driving on this circuit is a real pleasure. It's a track where you can go fast!"

What is your favourite race?

"Le Mans because this is a race unlike any other. I also like the 24 Hours of Spa as Spa is my favourite circuit and the 24 Hours of Nürburgring because it is held on the Nordschleife and it's a real race!"

What job did you want to do when you were little?

"I wanted to be a truck driver in California because of the movie 'Smokey and the Bandit' and Burt Reynolds!"

Did you have an idol?

"Alain Prost. When I was little, he won all the races and it is still my idol until he stopped competing."

What kind of music do you listen?

"Hard rock. When I was 16-17 years old, I loved Guns & Roses and Metallica."

Which film?

"Top Gun. The dogfights are amazing. This was the best movie when he came out and I still love watching it."
