Good Morning Austin

This morning Porsche LMP1 Works Driver Mark Webber completed a series of TV and print media interviews in and around Austin to promote this weekend's Lone Star Le Mans event, which features the 6 Hours of CoTA, Round 4 of the FIA World Endurance Championship.

The morning's activities started with a live interview on FOX TV's 'Good Day Austin' with the Australian talking about the event and about the FIA WEC enjoying the welcome from the people of Austin.

After interviews at KXAN (NBC-TV), the Austin American-Statesman and Austin Monthly, Webber joined Austin Mayor Lee Leffingwell and Circuit of the Americas CEO Jason Dial for the 'Lone Star Le Mans Day' proclamation on the steps of City Hall.

Tomorrow the waiting is finally over and the FIA WEC cars will be on track for the first time since the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Free Practice #1 starting at 2:45pm (CT).
