Jordan Tresson: "Le Mans has always been my dream"
Jordan Tresson, the most recent winner of the Nissan PlayStation Academy, made his debut in a prototype at the 12 Hours of Sebring, the opening round of the FIA World Endurance Championship, with Signatech-Nissan. Unlucky in the first two rounds, the young French driver relishes his first experience at Le Mans.
Jordan Tresson, nr23 Signatech Nissan Oreca 03-Nissan (LMP2): "It is very nice to see Le Mans back in a world championship; it has been a long time. Of course the race will be very important, as usual, and even more important because you can score major points for the World Endurance Championship. However it will be a race like any other one and we will try to do our best and we'll see at 3pm on Sunday where we are.
"It is very nice to be able to race at Le Mans and my thanks go to PlayStation and Nissan. I am very happy to be here and I had a good result in the Spa 24 Hours last season, so hopefully we'll be able to do the same this year in Le Mans. The race is much bigger and the car is different also but I'm happy to be here as Le Mans has always been a dream, especially for a Frenchman and I will do my best so we have a chance to succeed in the race."
