Race day in Fuji!
The 6 Hours of Fuji, round six of FIA WEC, will get underway at 11am local time today. Mixed conditions are expected with the forecast mostly dry but chance of a little rainfall.
Starting from pole will be the No. 7 Toyota Gazoo Racing GR010 Hybrid Hypercar, with the sister No. 8 car also on the front row. Toyota have won the last eight out of nine editions of the WEC 6 Hours of Fuji and time will tell whether they will be able to deliver another victory today.
In LMP2, it will be the No. 22 United Autosports Oreca 07 Gibson which leads the 11-car field round the 4.563km track which sits at the foot of the iconic Mount Fuji. In LMGTE Am, recently-crowned champions Corvette Racing will front the class ahead of the all-female Iron Dames crew.
