Rain fails to Dampen the Spirit of Le Mans

Day three of Le Mans week and even the wet weather couldn’t stop the fans enjoying the Tuesday autograph session at the circuit. The teams and drivers wrapped up warm, put up their awnings and welcomed the crowds who worked their way down the pitlane gathering signatures and pictures with their favourite drivers.

After two days of technical and administration checks in the Place de la Republique in the city of Le Mans, today was the first day of activities at the circuit with driver and team manager meetings preceding the first public event of the week. Thousands of fans, many of whom have arrived from all over the world, got their first opportunity to see the cars and drivers up close.

Tomorrow the teams will take to the track for two sessions lasting a total of 6-hours. Free practice will start at 16:00 and will last until 20:00 and then the first qualifying practice session will take place from 22:00 until midnight.
