Signatech-Nissan

The G-Drive Racing by SIGNATECH-NISSAN team was in action this weekend at the Jose Carlos Pace circuit in Interlagos, Brazil, for the 5th round of the FIA WORLD ENDURANCE CHAMPIONSHIP. Having dominated free practice and set a superb third-fastest time in qualifying, the nr 26 ORECA 03-NISSAN lost out on a podium, and even an LMP2 victory, having been hit in the rear on the formation lap by another competitor.

The nr23 ORECA 03-Nissan was always towards the top of the timesheets in free practice, and set the sixth-fastest LMP2 time in qualifying.  However, Franck Mailleux, Olivier Lombard and Jordan Tresson lost their left rear wheel half-way through the race and were forced to retire, while they were lying third in the LMP2 category.
