A glance to the Hyper year ahead
Last weekend’s Roar Before the 24 over at Daytona showcased some of the incredible new machinery that will be taking part in this year’s FIA WEC.
Indeed, a total of seven manufacturers (Cadillac, Ferrari, Peugeot, Porsche, Toyota, Glickenhaus and Vanwall) will go head-to-head in the WEC’s headline Hypercar category this season with Alpine, BMW and Lamborghini set to join in 2024.
Below is a gallery featuring Porsche Penske Motorsport’s Porsche 963, which will line up in P2 for its debut race at Daytona following Felipe Nasr’s blisteringly quick quali lap. Also pictured is the Cadillac V-LMDh – the No. 2 car which will be driven in this year’s WEC by Earl Bamber, Alex Lynn and Richard Westbrook.
