Wet Track Greet Drivers for Warm Up
A very wet track greeted the teams and drivers for the warm up session ahead of the 80th edition of the 24 Heures du Mans. In the slippery conditions the nr3 Audi R18 Ultra was the quickest car posting a 4m03.933 lap, 1.2 seconds ahead of the two Audi R18 e-tron quattros with the nr2 Audi 2.3 seconds ahead of the pole position holders for this afternoons race the nr1 R18.
The nr13 Rebellion Racing Lola-Toyota was the quickest private team entered car, 0.5 seconds ahead of the nr17 Pescarolo Team Dome-Judd.
The nr42 Greaves Motorsport Zytek Nissan was the fastest LMP2 car with a 4m19.781 lap, 0.4 seconds ahead of the nr35 Oak Racing Morgan-Nissan.
In LMGTE Pro the fastest car was the nr51 AF Corse Ferrari 458 with a 4:28.220 lap, 8 seconds quicker than the nr59 Luxury Racing Ferrari 458 which is the LMGTE Pro pole position holder. The nr55 JWA- Avila Porsche 911 was the quickest LMGTE Am car on the track with a time of 4:39.947.
The start procedures will begin at 14:22 and the race is due to start at 15:00.
